I’m a solutions-oriented reporter covering education in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service. I'm also a Report for America corps member. 

My work also appears in Wisconsin Watch, Chalkbeat Detroit, Outlier Media, Bridge Detroit, Business Insider, and The South End. I covered Detroit city meetings for Detroit Documenters for over three years and helped pilot the their Docu-Mentor program.

My work with Streetlight Detroit, Outlier Media's former public safety and policing newsletter, gained recognition from the Poynter Institute's Local Edition and Harvard's Nieman Lab.

I received my bachelors degree in urban studies and public history at Wayne State University in Detroit.
